MY PRACTICE
Individual, Children & Family Therapy
I am trained therapist and will work closely with you to determine the best approach for your mental health needs.
Family Therapy
Often we carry an idealized image of a perfect family—feeling understood, validated, safe, and deeply connected with our partner—but the reality of parenting can shift this picture. As children arrive, routines become overwhelming, misunderstandings grow, and parents may find themselves unsure how to communicate with their child or stay aligned with each other. You are not alone; parenting is incredibly demanding and does not always bring the joy we imagined. In family therapy, I help parents understand the roots of their challenges, explore their child’s emotional and developmental needs, and improve communication within the family. My role is to support and guide families as they navigate thoughts, feelings, and interactions during difficult moments, helping them rebuild connection, strengthen understanding, and create a more compassionate home environment.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a gentle, client-centered process where you are met with understanding, compassion, and curiosity. In our work together, I create a safe space in which you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. My focus is on truly hearing and understanding your needs, helping you make sense of what feels overwhelming or confusing. Through this supportive relationship, individual therapy helps you navigate personal challenges, build healthier coping strategies, deepen self-awareness, and cultivate emotional well-being in a way that feels authentic and empowering to you.
Group Therapy
In my approach, group therapy is a supportive and collaborative space where individuals come together to share, learn, and grow alongside others with similar experiences. Groups are facilitated by one or two mental health professionals who provide gentle guidance, structure, and direction to support the process as needed. I view group therapy as a community of understanding—where members can feel seen, validated, and less alone in their struggles. Through shared stories, reflections, and therapeutic exercises, participants gain new perspectives, practice communication skills, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. My role is to create a safe, respectful environment that encourages openness, connection, and meaningful change.
Children & Youth Therapy
In my approach, child and youth therapy offers a warm, supportive environment where young people can feel safe, heard, and understood—especially when they struggle to make sense of their emotions. Children and teens often don’t yet have the language or emotional awareness to understand what they feel or why they react the way they do. Using a gentle, client-centered approach, I help them explore and expand their emotional intelligence through creative expression, therapeutic play, and open conversation. Together, we identify coping strategies that fit their unique needs and strengths, empowering them to navigate challenges with greater confidence. I also support caregivers in understanding their child’s emotional world, so the whole family can feel more connected and supported.
About Me and My Approach
My practice is rooted in empathy, respect, and inclusivity. I believe that every individual’s journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply seeking personal development, I’m here to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore, heal, and grow.
