Women’s Issues

For generations, women have carried multiple roles—caregiver, professional, partner, daughter, friend—often all at once. And although times are changing for the better, many women continue to shoulder a significant emotional and practical load. They work full-time, care for their families, manage the household, and support the people around them, frequently without asking for help or setting the boundaries they deserve.

This constant responsibility can lead to stress, burnout, anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, or a loss of connection with oneself. In therapy, I provide a supportive space where women can explore their experiences without judgment. Together, we work on strengthening boundaries, reclaiming personal needs, understanding emotional patterns, and building a life that feels balanced and fulfilling—not just manageable.

Whether you’re navigating identity, relationships, motherhood, career pressures, or emotional exhaustion, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Seek help if:

  • Symptoms last more than two weeks
  • Daily life feels unmanageable
  • You have thoughts of harming yourself or your baby
  • You feel anxious, panicked, or scared most of the day
  • Immediate help: Call 911 if you feel you or someone else is in danger.

Other ways to cope:

  • Talk to your doctor or OB-GYN—they can screen for postpartum depression and anxiety.
  • Connect with a psychotherapist for guidance and coping strategies.
  • Share your feelings with trusted family or friends.
  • Practice self-care: rest, eat well, and accept help.
  • Join support groups for new parents.
